UN Oceans Conference – Fair Seas welcomes Ireland’s €10 million funding announcement for overseas marine protection
at the United Nations Ocean Conference in Lisbon, Portugal, Minister of State for Heritage and Electoral Reform, Minister Noonan announced that Ireland will provide €10 million in funding to address ocean challenges faced by developing countries including Small Island Developing States.
Yesterday saw the publication of a new proposal from the European Union for a Nature Restoration Law. The new law will set legally binding targets for nature restoration both on land and at sea.
