Fair Seas are thrilled to support Ken O’Sullivan’s series of ‘Into the Deep’ speaking tour across Ireland. Ken is delivering a series of talks recounting his adventures with enormous whales, monstrous sharks and encounters with other spectacular animals in the amazing underwater world of the North Atlantic ocean.

In its vastness and ever-changing nature, the sea has been a lifelong source of inspiration, wonder and adventure for the critically acclaimed author and cameraman, and whether you’re a long-time fan or new to Ken O’Sullivan’s work, ‘Into the Deep’ promises to be an immersive and unforgettable experience.

Both Ken’s filmmaking and written word has the power to ignite your imagination, edging you closer to feeling, sensing, and experiencing the marine life teeming beneath the ocean surface. Ken set up Sea Fever Productions to produce wildlife and creative documentaries in 2006, having worked for several years as a freelance underwater cameraman. Sea Fever Productions produced their first feature documentary film, Sea Fever, in 2007. The film received great critical acclaim, winning the ‘Best Cameraman’ award at the Moscow Sports Film Festival in 2009.

Author of Stories from the Deep, a book of narrative stories, poetry and incredible photographs documenting his time exploring the North Atlantic, Ken harnesses the power of storytelling to foster a deeper connection with the natural world and our cultural heritage. Ken’s authored and visual work also maintains a strong focus on conservation as he seeks to create awareness about the twin climate and nature crises.
